Sarah is a senior litigator at Springer & Steinberg with more than a decade of daily courtroom experience. She has first chaired nearly 50 jury trials, conducted hundreds of evidentiary hearings, and brings extensive appellate experience.

She currently specializes in domestic relations law, resolving clients’ most personal and private matters, including asset protection, complex financial disputes, and significant child-related matters. An experienced litigator and negotiator, she is known for a balanced approach—collaborative when possible and aggressive when necessary—with a strong focus on results and discretion.

In addition to her litigation practice, Sarah serves as a judge in multiple jurisdictions, where she has presided over trials and contested hearings, providing her with a distinct judicial perspective. Her background includes service as an Assistant District Attorney, Associate City Attorney, and Assistant County Attorney, with eight years as a prosecutor and three years in child welfare.

Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in literature from American University and her Juris Doctor from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, graduating at the top of her class. She is admitted to practice law in Colorado and New Mexico.
